Ingleside Elizabeth

Libby is four times Champion Shire at Sydney Royal, and winner of multiple championships at other shows around NSW. She was bred using frozen semen from the English Super Premium stallion Trelow Father Abraham, and was only the second Shire to be conceived using frozen semen in Australia.

Libby is a wonderful mother, producing many beautiful foals that have gone on to successful show careers.  She is a great mare to have in the herd, always willing to look after, and sometimes feed!, other mare’s foals.  Currently in foal to Oakridge Speculator.

Ingleside Symphony

Symphony has been Champion at Sydney Royal twice – the first time as a yearling (2006) and again as a three year old (2008). Her sire is Trelow Father Abraham (an English Super Premium stallion) and out of a great line of mares. Her first foal, Ingleside Lucinda, was born in 2009 and is carrying on the great show tradition of her line, winning Champion at Sydney as a foal.  In 2011 Symphony had a lovely black filly foal, Harmony, who we have retained as a future show and brood mare.  Currently in foal to Speculator.

Locksley Farm Rhiannon (Clydesdale)

Rhiannon is one of our most loved mares. Bred by Ineke in 1995 she is broken to ride and drive, and is so quiet she is often used to help out when we are training young horses. Rhiannon was shown successfully as a filly in both led and harness before retiring to breed.

Rhiannon is mother and grandmother to some of Ingleside’s best show horses including Ingleside Felicity, Ingleside Symphony and Ingleside Anastasia.

Rhiannon is mother to Ingleside Anastasia, who is currently on our show team.  She has already had great success with wins, Championships and Supreme Championships to her name.

Mingara Lady Ebony

Ebony is a lovely big mare with quality limbs and feet and an abundance of hair.  She is also by Trelow Father Abraham.

Ebony has proved to be a quality addition to the stud, winning Supreme Champion Shire at the 2012 Sydney Royal Easter Show, with her daughter Madeline, by Speculator, Reserve Champion. 

Ebony has a wonderful, quiet temperament, is broken to ride and drive, and is already a proven breeder with some beautiful foals on the ground.

We have retained two of her daughters, Ingleside Madeline and Ingleside Miranda as future show and broodmares.  Currently in foal to Oakridge Speculator.

Ingleside Sophie

Sophie is a daughter of Rhiannon, and another stunning mare of this line.

She is a big girl with fantastic silky hair and beautiful legs and feet.

She is a real character and is always the first to work things out or notice something new. She was also a successful show horse in her youth.

Her first foal, Ingleside Risky Business, came back to us as a 2 year old to break in to ride and drive.  He had a wonderful temperament and was a real pleasure to work with.  Risky holds a special place in our hearts, as he was a very difficult birth and it took a lot of hard work to save both him and Sophie.

Sophie has since successfully delivered another two foals by Oakridge Speculator with no complications.  We have retained a colt by her, Ingleside Imperial, as a potential show and harness gelding.

Tullymore Boronia

We were very pleased when we had the opportunity to add Boronia to our herd.  She is by the imported English Stallion Arclid Adonis and out of a Clydesdale mare.

She is a beautiful mare; a good size with lovely legs, feet and the most amazing abundance of silky feather.

Boronia is a lovely mare to have in the paddock. She is very easy going and is always happy to make friends with any horse she is running with.

She had a lovely black filly foal to Speculator that we are keeping as a future show and brood mare.

Aarunga Gina (Clydesdale)

Gina is a quality Clydesdale mare from the famous Aarunga Stud in Victoria (owned by Max and Kristen Marriott).  We have bred a beautiful filly out of her by the Clydesdale stallion Aarunga Scottish Design – Ingleclyde Orange Blossom, who we have retained as a potential show and brood mare.  She was lightly shown in 2009.

Gina carries a black gene and has bred a beautiful black colt, Ingleside Lucky Chance, to Speculator, and an equally lovely bay filly, Ingleside Jubilee, currently for sale.  She is in foal to Speculator for 2013. 

Wyee Victorine

Tory is a beautifully bred, and very big, mare, by the fabulously successful English stallion Moorfield Edward (by AI) out of a Trelow Father Abraham mare. Her grand-dam is Fenswood Lady Helen – in our opinion one of the best mares brought out to Australia.

Tory gave us a stunning black filly by Speculator, Ingleside Olympia, who we have retained.  She is in our 2013 show team and is already causing a sensation even at this early age.  She is currently in foal to Oakridge Speculator.

Ingleside Anastasia

Anna is a lovely mare, a daughter of one of our best mares, Rhiannon, and by Speculator, she is the oldest of his daughters that we have retained. She has been a stalwart of our show team from a foal and is rarely beaten in the show ring. She has already had great success with wins at Sydney Royal, plus Championships and Supreme Championships at local shows. She is also broken to ride and shows a lot of talent as a ridden or driven horse. 

She bred a stunning colt, Ingleside Rockwell, to Longcopy Helvetica Black in 2012 (currently for sale) and is empty this year. She will be bred to our new imported colt Escrick Extreme in 2013. Pictured here at 2 years old.

McMurchie Unity (Clydesdale)

We were very excited when we had the opportunity to add Unity to our herd.  She is the mother of Ebony, one of our best show mares and grandmother to some of our most promising upcoming show prospects.  She is beautifully bred, by the imported stallion Dillars Lesmahagow, and out of McMurchie Hanna, who is of a long line of exceptional Clydesdales, and herself a Champion at Sydney and Melbourne Royals.  She is currently in foal to Oakridge Speculator, and we are very excited to be expecting a foal of this mating.
