Oakridge Speculator 2012

Speculator is the leading Shire stallion in Australia, with progeny winning major awards right across the country.

Imported from England in 2005, he has great bloodlines and is descended from the breed’s most influential stallions on both sides of his pedigree.

A top performer in breed, ridden and harness classes, Speculator has the conformation, movement and most importantly temperament to excel.

While still relatively early in his breeding career, he has already proven himself an outstanding stock-getter, with foals winning Supreme Champions at Sydney Royal Show, Brisbane Royal Show and the National Shire Horse Show.

Non-fading, jet black with four white socks and a blaze, he is the very picture of a Shire and an outstanding specimen of the breed. He is a real character and is the favourite of everyone on the stud.

Hickory Hill Nitro of the Northeast

Nitro is a highly exciting up-and-coming sire in the United States, out of the tremendous driving mare Deighton Helena and by Isles Field Danny Boy. At only three, Nitro is a beautiful upstanding colt with fantastic bloodlines going back to Moorfield Edward, Nottage Trump Card and Dothan Masterpiece (sire of Walton Supreme).

With his blue-blood pedigree coupled with outstanding conformation, Nitro’s blue-black colour and perfect four white socks and blaze is the icing on the cake.

He has twice been All American/ All North American and was the 2010 American Shire Horse Association National Champion Stallion and in 2011 he was Grand Champion Stallion at New York State Fair and Reserve Grand Champion at the Keystone International Livestock Expo.

Ingleside is the exclusive agent for Nitro semen in Australia. We plan on using him over a select number of our own mares this season, and offering doses for sale the following season.

Ingleside Might’n'Power

Ingleside Might’n'Power (aka Mickey) was Ingleside’s first stud stallion.  Out of Ingleside Matilda and by Wyee Anthony, he is an exceptionally athetic horse and great to ride.  He was shown successfully in hand and under saddle and bred a number of lovely Ingleside foals.  He now lives on the central coast at Mana Shire Stud with Anne Coull and Darren Somerville.
