Kangaroo Valley Show

Another hot day at Kangaroo Valley. After a promising forecast earlier in the week, Saturday turned out to be mid 30s and humid. We took Ingleside Anastasia (filly 2 yrs) and Ingleside Remarkable (yearling colt) – his first ever show. Sam Leighton came along with Ingleside Strider (gelding 3 yrs) and Annette Robinson came back to help again – clearly a glutton for punishment after surviving Berry!

Remarkable was really well behaved, which was great as he was the one we wanted to get out and about. He came second in his class (Heavy Horse stallion or colt) to a mature Clydesdale stallion. Anna also came second in her class (Heavy Horse mare or filly) to Darren and Tanya Post’s 3 year old Shire filly. Anna was also awarded Best Presented.

Congratulations to Sam who took out the Gelding class with Strider, and went on to win Reserve Champion, and congratulations to the Posts who won Champion with their 3 year old. A massive thank you also goes to Annette for helping us out again! Surely one day we will crack a show that is nicely overcast and cool…

Photos to come soon.
