Exceptional is an absolutely incredible Shire gelding, already started under saddle and in harness (pics in harness pending) and ready for you to go on with. Rising 3, dark brown with 4 white socks and even blaze, he already stands at 17.2hh and will make in excess of 18hh once mature.
One of the only 2 foals by one of our imported stallion Saredon Excelsior (Imp UK, dec), he is a grandson of the great Metheringham Upton Hamlet (dec) – the most successful Shire stallion of the modern era – 3 times UK National Champion and 3 times winner of Shire Horse of the Year in England. You cannot get these genetics anywhere else in Australia.
His dam Ingleside Anastasia, is herself a Sydney Royal Easter Show champion, and also a very successful ridden horse with many wins under her belt, including at Sydney Royal against tough competition. Quality, quality, quality! That’s what we think every time we look at this girl.
This filly is absolutely stunning, with the most amazing silky and whitest of feather, perfect feet and correct set. She is a full sister to our Sydney Royal Champion mare Ingleside Anastasia and related to all of our best show horses. She is a flashy mover and would excel in harness or ridden events.
Tamara is out of Locksley Farm Rhiannon (Clydesdale), who was a very successful show horse in her youth and went on to also be a great show horse in harness.
Her sire is the incomparable Oakridge Speculator, who has sired the vast majority of major show winning Shires over the past decade.
We reluctantly offer this yearling filly for sale as we simply have too many horses! She would make a great show horse, or with her impeccable bloodlines be an asset to any stud.
Four white socks, bay, but carries a black gene (when bred to a black horse would offer a 50/50 chance of a black foal). Tamara is a B Register Shire filly, rising 2.

Locomotion is a spectacular and very tall gelding, nearly two years old with movement to burn. By Oakridge Speculator and out of Wyee Victorine, he is a full brother to Sydney Royal Champion Mare, Ingleside America, one of our up and coming show mares.
Locomotion (named because he moves like a train!) has all the class of his sister and would be an amazing ride and drive gelding. Estimated to make 18hh.

Grace is another beautifully bred filly, by Escrick Extreme (Imp UK) and out of Ingleside Anastasia, a Sydney Royal Champion mare. Anna was a highly successful member of our show team from a foal, not only winning many championships in hand, but also under saddle. Grace shows the same active movement as her mother and would make an outstanding ridden prospect, and an equally good show prospect. She has amazing foot and feather and is extremely friendly – always the first to come up to you in the paddock. Aria could be an outstanding asset to any stud, be a great show horse or an affectionate member of the family!
Aria has sold to Judy King and Alan Mayne in the Adelaide Hills. She will be their fifth Ingleside Shire!

Out of our amazing show mare Ingleside Madeline, who has won championships wherever she has gone since a foal (including Supreme Champion Shire at Sydney Royal, and the championships at both Gatton and Werribee specialist heavy horse shows), and by Escirck Extreme (Imp UK), we have retained his full brother from last year as a potential future stud stallion. Out of Ingleside Curio (Oakridge Speculator x Tullymore Boronia) by Escrick Extreme, Daisy has all the qualities to take her to the top in the show ring, and the character to make a super partner at home. She has big, athletic movement, which would make her a powerhouse under saddle.
Daisy has sold to a fabulous home with Louise Brown. She will be their first Shire and we look forward to seeing them in the show ring in the future!
