Ingleside Shire Horse Stud is committed to breeding quality Shires that are friendly and quiet.
Ingleside specialises in breeding black Shires, but the main focus is on quality and temperament. Ingleside horses have excelled in the show ring over the past three decades with outstanding results in breed classes, heavy harness and under saddle.
The stud is run by a family team, Ineke, Helen and Korrie. They all love their horses and are passionate about the great Shire Horse, wanting to see this rare breed grow in numbers in Australia. Ingleside seeks to promote these wonderful big horses by breeding and showing their Shires to the highest possible standard.
Ingleside aims to breed the modern Shire, a versatile riding, harness and pleasure horse, with hocks close behind, which has good movement, foot, feather and joints.
