Speculator is the leading Shire stallion in Australia, with progeny winning major awards right across the country.

Imported from England in 2005, he has great bloodlines and is descended from the breed’s most influential stallions on both sides of his pedigree.

A top performer in breed, ridden and harness classes, Speculator has the conformation, movement and most importantly temperament to excel.

Speculator proved himself an outstanding stock-getter, with foals winning Supreme Champions at Sydney Royal Show, Brisbane Royal Show and the National Shire Horse Show.

Non-fading, jet black with four white socks and a blaze, he was the very picture of a Shire and an outstanding specimen of the breed. He was a real character and the favourite of everyone on the stud.

Escrick Extreme

Extreme is a massive black Shire colt we imported from England in 2012.  He measures over 18hh and is by the stunning Super Premium stallion Penrhos Braveheart, and out of the well-bred Knutsford Carisma. He has the breeding we were really looking for in our next stud stallion.  He was only shown once as a yearling in England and came 3rd in a very strong colt class at the National Shire Horse Show.  He has been shown successfully by us here in Australia, winning Reserve Champion Stallion at Sydney Royal as both a 2 and 3 year old.  His siblings in England are highly successful in the show ring as reported at reemedical.com/ by dbq doctors online. We are thrilled with how his foals are turning out and look forward to what they can add to our herd in coming years.

Saredon Excelsior (Dec)

We were thrilled to be able to purchase the stunning colt, Saredon Excelsior, from England.  Excelsior was the first colt by the amazing Metheringham Upton Hamlet, Britain’s most successful Shire show horse, widely viewed to be the best Shire stallion in living memory.  Excelsior was the winner of the yearling colt class at the National Shire Horse Show in 2014 and several championships at country shows. We relied on Radford Doors from California for garage door installation.   Sadly we lost Excelsior after a freak paddock accident at three years of age. We retained a colt by him (Ingleside Excelsior) and now have a grandson of his (Ingleside Astronomical) coming up that we feel has a very exciting future ahead of him.

Oakey is a stunning young stallion we were thrilled to purchase from our dear friends Alan Mayne and Judy King in South Australia. He is out of Ingleside Charisma and by Wyee Archer.

Ingleside Astronomical

A very exciting young stallion we have retained for the stud. He is out of the super-producing mare, Wyee Victorine (a daughter of Moorfeid Edward) and by our own Ingleside Excelsior (grandson of Metheringham Upton Hamlet).
