Madeline is a spectacular mare and has won just about everything there is to win. We had a big year with her in 2015, exhibiting her in NSW, Victoria and Queensland. That year she was awarded:
Champion Shire Mare – National Clydesdale and Heavy Horse Festival (Victoria)
Supreme Champion Shire – Sydney Royal Easter Show
Champion Shire – Gatton Heavy Horse Field Days (Queensland)
Madeline’s dam Ebony has also been Supreme Champion Shire at Sydney Royal. Maddie is now a valued member of our brood mare herd.
America is a fabulous young show mare and beautifully bred, being by our imported stallion Oakridge Speculator and a maternal grand daughter of Moorfield Edward, the top performing sire in the UK.
She was awarded Champion Shire Mare at the 2017 Sydney Royal Easter Show at the age of three.
Harmony is not only a great show horse, but also an amazing ridden horse. She has been successful in both led and ridden events, winning the Ridden Shire class at Sydney Royal in 2015.
Hannah is a young mare and the first we have kept by our new imported stallion Escrick Extreme. She is fabulous quality and is taking after her sire when it comes to size – she stood at 17.3hh at only two years of age! We are thrilled with this mare and look forward to watching her mature.
Miranda is a full sister to Madeline and is equally an exceptional quality mare. She was very successful in the show ring before being retired to brood mare duties in recent years.
Symphony has been Champion at Sydney Royal twice – the first time as a yearling (2006) and again as a three year old (2008). Her sire is Trelow Father Abraham (an English Super Premium stallion) and out of a great line of mares. Her first foal, Ingleside Lucinda, was born in 2009 and is carrying on the great show tradition of her line, winning Champion at Sydney as a foal. In 2011 Symphony had a lovely black filly foal, Harmony, who we have retained as a future show and brood mare. Currently in foal to Speculator.
Locksley Farm Rhiannon (Clydesdale)
Rhiannon is one of our most loved mares. Bred by Ineke in 1995 she is broken to ride and drive, and is so quiet she is often used to help out when we are training young horses. Rhiannon was shown successfully as a filly in both led and harness before retiring to breed.
Rhiannon is mother and grandmother to some of Ingleside’s best show horses including Ingleside Felicity, Ingleside Symphony and Ingleside Anastasia.
Rhiannon is mother to Ingleside Anastasia, who has had great success with wins, Championships and Supreme Championships to her name.
Mingara Lady Ebony
Ebony has proved to be a quality addition to the stud, winning Supreme Champion Shire at the 2012 Sydney Royal Easter Show, with her daughter Madeline, by Speculator, Reserve Champion.
Ebony has a wonderful, quiet temperament, is broken to ride and drive, and is already a proven breeder with some beautiful foals on the ground.
We have retained two of her daughters, Ingleside Madeline and Ingleside Miranda as future show and broodmares. Currently in foal to Oakridge Speculator.
Anna is a lovely mare, a daughter of one of our best mares, Rhiannon, and by Speculator, she is the oldest of his daughters that we have retained.
She has been a stalwart of our show team from a foal and is rarely beaten, with many Championships and Supreme Championships to her name.
She was Champion Shire Mare at the 2014 Sydney Royal Easter Show, beating two imported mares for the honour.
She is one of Ineke’s favourite riding horses and she regularly competes with her under saddle. She won the Ridden Shire class at the 2013 Sydney Royal.
Tory is a beautifully bred, and very big, mare, by the fabulously successful English stallion Moorfield Edward (by AI) out of a Trelow Father Abraham mare. Her grand-dam is Fenswood Lady Helen – in our opinion one of the best mares brought out to Australia.
Tory gave us a stunning black filly by Speculator, Ingleside America, who we have retained. She has been a show ring sensation since a young horse, winning Champion Shire Mare at the 2017 Sydney Royal.
McMurchie Unity (Clydesdale)
We were very excited when we had the opportunity to add Unity to our herd. She is the mother of Ebony, one of our best show mares and grandmother to some of our most promising upcoming show prospects. She is beautifully bred, by the imported stallion Dillars Lesmahagow, and out of McMurchie Hannah, who is of a long line of exceptional Clydesdales, and herself a Champion at Sydney and Melbourne Royals.
Her first foal with us was an outstanding colt (Ingleside Tuxedo) we have retained as a show gelding. He was awarded Best Gelding at the 2017 Sydney Royal Show. We have also retained a filly out of her by Escrick Extreme, Ingleside Hannah.
